The Brewing Process
WHEN BEER CHOOSES YOU
Our brewery and processes are on the traditional pre-industrial side. We use a single-step infusion mash and boil in a direct fire copper kettle. Our resulting ales and lagers are mostly Continental, British, and post-modern American. The myriad of malts and hops we play with come from Europe and North America in our never-ending pursuit of delicious beer.

Our intention is not to take over the world. We just want to brew (and drink) great beer. While we always brew six standard styles, our ADHD assures there will also always be a special release, or two or three. You can surely find us on tap in the North Bay and now in taprooms in Santa Clarita and Humboldt County. Looking for 16oz kegs? You can find 4-packs of Death & Taxes at the brewery during taproom hours and various local and Bay Area accounts. Just ask the informative and friendly bartender if they sell our cans to-go!
